In groups, we came up with 36 words to describe the features/qualities/properties of materials, can place the words in three categories (above, below and in between).Above:
Porous, light, thin, sharp, bright, reflective, slippery, molten, slimy, scaly, hollow, heavy (left to right).
In between:
Fibrous, prickly, lumpy, soft, jagged, flexible, scratchy, transparent, translucent, rugged, rocky, layered (left to right).
Below:
Uneven, vibrant, smooth, dense, rough, solid, luminous, dark, crisp, chalky, thick, even (left to right).
